It is featured with 70 Billion CFU scientifically studied probiotics, 1g prebiotics XOS and FOS, luxury BIOFAC® Caviar collagen extracted from sturgeon caviar, along with Cranberex® cranberry extract and d-mannose.
There are approximately 300 trillion bacteria living on our bodies and inside us. Much of these bacteria reside in our gut and the majority are harmless.
Probiotics are living bacteria and yeast that benefit health when ingested. When probiotics reach your gut, they colonize with other good microorganisms to diversify and balance the gut environment. Probiotics often secret bioactive compounds such as short chain fatty acids and peptides to benefit the body. The abundant beneficial bacteria in the gut are majorly lactobacillus and bifido bacteria.
Our product contains 17 strains and a total 70 CFU of various beneficiary probiotics, along with prebiotics to create a synbiotics product.
Different from probiotics, prebiotics are fermentable fiber that serves as food for microorganism in our gut, promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria. Prebiotics naturally exists in foods such as vegetables, fruits, milk, beans and nuts.
Prebiotics are carbohydrates; however, they cannot be digested by humans directly so they are not counted as "net carbs". Different type of bacteria favors different type of prebiotics as food source. For example, Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) is the favorite food by lactobacillus while Xylooligosachharides (XOS) is the favorite food by bifido bacteria. Taking a variety of prebiotics is necessary to boost the growth of gut microorganisms.
Our product contains 1 gram of FOS and XOS to maximize the health benefits.
Cranberex® is a water soluble 200:1 cranberry juice concentrate. It contains the highest A-type Proanthocyanidins (PACs) at 15%. A-type PACs is the specific PACs has been confirmed to limit the adhesion of E. Coli bacteria to walls of urinary tract, and further support urinary health. Cranberex® has been tested in scientific studies to limit bacterial adhesion to urinary tract walls.
In addition to Cranberex®, our product also contains d-mannose to provide a synergistic effect.
